Essential Patreon membership cookies

If you choose to connect Patreon, we set an encrypted, HTTP-only cookie named tgd_patreon_session. It lets us verify your membership and provide the ad-free service you requested. OAuth security cookies are also set briefly while Patreon sign-in is in progress. These cookies are strictly necessary for that feature and are not used for advertising. The membership cookie lasts for up to 30 days and is renewed while you use the site; choosing Disconnect on the Membership page removes it.

Advertising

For visitors who are not verified ad-free members, Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalise advertising. Where consent is required, these technologies are controlled through the consent-management message shown before they are used. You can revisit that message to withdraw or change your choice.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. It is designed to operate without identifying individual visitors through cookies.
